More details to follow.

Christ-Centered Ministries (CCM) hosted its inaugural Thanksgiving Feast & Community Celebration in Inglewood, creating a day filled with dignity, warmth, and gratitude for hundreds of guests experiencing homelessness, hardship, or food insecurity. Led by Pastor Troy and Pastor Darlene Vaughn, CCM transformed its campus into a welcoming dining hall where more than 1,000 meals, gift bags, and holiday supplies were distributed with compassion and care.
Community members like Darnell—who preferred not to give his last name but insisted on saying thank you—lined La Brea Avenue early, grateful to find a place where they felt remembered. “I’m grateful that people still care,” he shared.
Supported by nearly 200 volunteers, CCM and Restoration Family Worship Center served plate after plate of turkey, ham, vegetables, and hot rolls. The event embodied CCM’s long-standing mission of restoration, rooted in Pastor Troy’s own journey from military service to homelessness to national leadership, and now back home leading the movement he founded in 1999.
Local dignitaries Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, Pastor Charles Blake II, Lady DeAndra Blake, and partners from West Angeles Church of God in Christ, Manna Feast Catering Services, and LARRP joined CCM in demonstrating a united front of compassion and service.
“We’re giving people more than a meal—we’re giving them love, care, and connection,” said Pastor Darlene Vaughn. “For many, that goes a long way during the holidays.”
This Thanksgiving marked only the beginning of CCM’s renewed chapter—one where restored lives lead the restoration of an entire community.

Christ-Centered Ministries (CCM) marked a milestone moment this Thanksgiving as more than 1,000 guests—individuals experiencing homelessness, families in crisis, and neighbors seeking community—gathered for a celebration rooted in dignity and restoration. Guided by the vision of Pastor Troy and Pastor Darlene Vaughn, CCM’s mission came alive in a powerful way as transformed lives led the charge.
Before sunrise, CCM’s team and volunteers—many of whom were once guests themselves—were already preparing more than 80 turkeys, 80 hams, thousands of sides, and 1,000 pies, crafted by CCM’s own social-enterprise, Manna Feast Catering Services. But this event was far more than a meal. It was a living demonstration of the restoration model embodied throughout CCM’s programs, including the Restoration Reentry Residence (RRR).
Leaders and community partners joined Pastor Troy onsite, including Inglewood Mayor James Butts, Pastor Charles Blake II, West Angeles Church, Restoration Family Worship Center, Manna Feast, and LARRP. Yet the heartbeat of the day came from people whose lives CCM helped transform—now serving with excellence, purpose, and deep compassion.
Pastor Troy reminded volunteers before the gates opened:
“Make every guest feel seen. Not served—seen. That is where restoration begins.”
From formerly incarcerated leaders directing operations, to program graduates running public-health teams, to community voices returning to say thank you, the event showcased what CCM has modeled for 25 years: transformed people become the strongest restorers.
This Thanksgiving didn’t just feed a community. It revealed a movement—one restoring Los Angeles life by life through compassion, structure, faith, and opportunity.
